CONGRESS |
18th June - 20th June 2001 |
Europe and the Second Century
of Auto - Mobility
The
8th EAEC Congress will be held in the Istropolis Congress Centre, in
the middle of the capital of the Slovak Republic, Bratislava - a magnificent city
on the longest European river Danube. The EAEC Congress provides excellent
opportunities for automobile experts to present the newest results and to
exchange information in the field of automobile industry.
In
addition, Bratislava is one of the cities in Central Europe with several major
manufacturers and suppliers of many components, subsystems and services nearby. It
is a major tourist attraction with cultural heritage - museums, music concerts,
modern-age and gothic monuments. It lies among the beautiful Carpathian hills.
This
year the theme of the European Automotive Congress is "Europe and the
Second Century of Auto-mobility". It is our intention to use this
opportunity in Central Europe - one of the major component and vehicle
manufacturing regions - to stress the importance of modern system and module
manufacturers for the future of the automobile industry.
The
Congress will be of great interest to automobile manufacturers, suppliers,
researchers and it will stimulate joint sourcing approaches. It will provide a unique opportunity
to participate in the profitable West-Central-East Europe exchange of information and
technology.
The Congress will consist of three Conferences (A, B and C) organised by six organising societies:
